Holiday House Palm Springs Brings Back Fried Chicken Dinners and Launches Weekend Brunches This Fall

Palm Springs’ chic Holiday House is turning up the heat this fall with the much-anticipated return of their Fried Chicken Dinners and the return of their weekend brunch. Beginning October 16, Chef Jon Butler will serve up his signature fried chicken dinners, crafted from new recipes perfected over the summer. These family-style feasts, hosted twice a month on Wednesdays, offer an intimate one-time seating at 6:30 PM, with only 40 guests per evening. Diners can indulge in a delicious, traditional fried chicken meal, complete with all the classic fixings, under the stars for a cozy outdoor dining experience.

In addition to the fried chicken dinners, their weekend brunch is launching on October 5th, adding another reason to make this stylish getaway a go-to for fall dining. Whether you’re gathering with friends or looking for a new brunch spot, this is the place to be.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, Holiday House is a charming 28-room boutique hotel that first opened its doors in 1951. Originally designed by the celebrated architect Herbert W. Burns, the property has since undergone a stylish transformation led by interior designer Mark D. Sikes and the creative minds behind Sparrows Lodge. Today, the hotel’s design harmonizes midcentury modern elements with a communal and whimsical vibe.

The centerpiece of Holiday House’s redesign is the striking Gio Ponti-inspired tile work that adorns the bar area, complemented by an eclectic art collection featuring works by renowned artists such as David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Herb Ritts, Alex Katz, and Mr. Brainwash. Outside, guests can admire a garden sculpture by Donald Sultan.

Each of the 28 guest rooms has been meticulously remodeled, featuring luxurious touches like Waterworks bath fixtures, oversized showers, and custom Mark D. Sikes textiles. A curated collection of artwork enhances the interiors, while a fully stocked minibar offers a selection of liquors for a touch of indulgence. Guests can also enjoy premium Cowshed bath amenities.

Reservations are highly recommended for both events and can be made through OpenTable or by calling Holiday House directly. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy these exclusive seasonal offerings!
