FireAid: A Star-Studded Benefit Concert to Support L.A. Wildfire Victims

In an extraordinary show of unity and compassion, some of the biggest names in music are coming together for FireAid, a benefit concert to support communities devastated by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. The star-studded lineup includes Billie Eilish and Finneas, Lady Gaga, Jelly Roll, Lil Baby, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, and many more. Adding to the excitement, John Mayer and Dave Matthews will share the stage for the first time in what promises to be a historic collaboration.

Scheduled for January 30, FireAid will take place across two iconic Inglewood venues, the Intuit Dome and The Forum, ensuring ample space for what is expected to be a monumental turnout. Live Nation, AEG, and the Azoff Company are spearheading this event, described as an evening of music, solidarity, and hope.

A Powerful Lineup

The confirmed performers include Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Joni Mitchell, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and Tate McRae, among others. Additional acts and special guests are expected to be announced in the coming days, promising surprises that will further elevate the event’s impact.

A Unified Cause

The fires, which began on January 7, were fueled by fierce Santa Ana winds and ravaged areas including Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena. The destruction has been staggering, with more than 12,000 homes and structures destroyed, 25 lives lost, and countless families displaced. Firefighters continue their tireless efforts, with containment progress still ongoing.

Proceeds from FireAid will go toward a specially created 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The funds will focus on rebuilding infrastructure, assisting displaced families, and advancing fire prevention technologies to better prepare Los Angeles for future fire emergencies.

Broadcast Reach

In a demonstration of solidarity across industries, the concerts will be broadcast on platforms including AMC Theatres, Apple Music, Apple TV, Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, YouTube, and more. This extensive reach underscores the entertainment industry’s commitment to supporting those affected by the disaster.

Personal Ties to the Cause

For many performers, the devastation hits close to home. Billie Eilish, a native of Los Angeles, and Gwen Stefani, who grew up in Anaheim, have both expressed deep connections to the affected communities. The legendary rock band Eagles has also contributed significantly, donating $2.5 million to the benefit efforts.

A Community in Recovery

As Los Angeles begins to recover, the local community has rallied together, though the scars of the wildfires remain. In addition to FireAid, several Hollywood events, including those leading up to the 2025 Grammy Awards, have been canceled in deference to the ongoing recovery efforts.

FireAid, produced by Shelli and Irving Azoff along with the Azoff family, Live Nation, and AEG Presents, represents a beacon of hope for a city in crisis. With the power of music and the support of a unified community, FireAid is poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of those impacted by the fires.

Tickets are available now, with proceeds directly supporting wildfire relief and prevention. For those unable to attend, the extensive broadcast and streaming options offer an opportunity to join the cause from anywhere in the world.

As the music world unites for this urgent cause, FireAid stands as a testament to the resilience and generosity of the Los Angeles community.
