About Luchador Brewing
In the heart of California, where passion for craft beer collides with cherished memories of Luchador wrestling, Brent Miller and Jaime Benson came together to bring their vision to life – Luchador Brewing Company (LBC). Their journey is an ode to nostalgia, community, and the vibrant spirit of California’s Chino Hills and Coachella Valley.
The Birth of LBC
For co-owner Brent Miller, Luchador wrestling was more than just a sport; it was a source of childhood nostalgia and wonder. Those larger-than-life characters, masked and fearless, left an indelible mark on his imagination. On the other hand, co-owner Jaime Benson had deep-rooted connections to both Chino Hills and the Coachella Valley. These threads of influence and inspiration converged, and in their wake, Luchador Brewing Company was born.
In March 2020, LBC opened its flagship location in Chino Hills, a testament to the owners’ commitment to their craft and community. It was a dream realized, a place where the essence of Luchador wrestling met the world of craft brewing. Then, in August 2022, their second location, nestled in the vibrant Coachella Valley in Cathedral City, welcomed enthusiasts, extending the LBC family even further.
And the journey continues. Soon, LBC will proudly unveil its Distribution Center in Banning, CA, promising to deliver the bold flavors and rich traditions they are known for to even more eager aficionados.
The Craftsmanship Behind the Brews
At the heart of Luchador Brewing Company is their dedication to brewing excellence. Heading up their custom brew system is the skilled Paul Marquez and his team. In Chino Hills, eight five-barrel brew tanks work tirelessly to create the flavorful concoctions that patrons have come to love. In Cathedral City, four ten-barrel tanks take center stage, pushing the boundaries of taste and innovation.
LBC boasts 15 rotating taps, each offering a carefully curated selection of beers and seltzers – all crafted in-house. From IPAs that pack a punch to refreshing seltzers, every sip tells a story of passion and creativity. But LBC doesn’t stop at beer. A thoughtful selection of wines, both by the glass and bottle, adds a touch of elegance to the experience.
A Culinary Twist: El Camión
At LBC, the experience goes beyond the liquid delight of craft beverages. Their in-house food truck, El Camión, redefines brewery dining. Prepare your taste buds for a journey through Mexican street food, served up as delectable small plates, Tijuana-style. It’s a culinary adventure that pairs seamlessly with their brews, turning the traditional brewery food truck concept on its head.
Take a Piece of LBC Home
Can’t get enough of LBC’s signature flavors? You’re in luck. Growlers, crowlers, and their full menu are available for take-out, allowing you to savor Luchador Brewing Company’s creations in the comfort of your own space.
