Palm Springs is getting a bold new art experience this summer with The Truck Stop Art Fair, a renegade two night event created by artists Anne Bedrick and Kathleen Strukoff, as part of the Palm Springs XOXO Festival, celebrating local arts of all kinds.
The Truck Stop Art Fair will transform a lineup of 15–20 U-Haul trucks into pop up
micro galleries, each one reimagined by participating artists as a compact, highly original exhibition space. The result is a mobile art fair that brings the public face to face with the energy, personality, and creative range of local artists in an unexpected and unforgettable setting.
“Think of it as a small appetizer of what local artists are creating,” said co organizers Bedrick and Strukoff. “We wanted to build something playful, accessible, and a little rebellious, a space where people can experience art in a way that feels fresh, intimate, and fun.”
More than just an exhibition, The Truck Stop Art Fair invites visitors to wander through a one-of-a-kind collection of artist-designed truck galleries, each offering a distinct visual experience. The event reflects the spirit of Palm Springs itself: creative, collaborative, and always ready to surprise.
